Free Song Downloads Sponsored By The U.S. Airforce

Posted Tue May 26, 2009 6:34pm PDT by Robert of the Radish in The Y! Music Playlist Blog

This playlist includes tracks that Rhapsody is currently offering as free downloads via a sponsorship by the U.S. Airforce. The Airforce pays for each of these song downloads, and I assume the free music is part of their recruitment program.
You can download all of these songs at: http://www.rhapsodyextras.com/airforce/
I wanted to join the Airforce after high school, but my father forbid it. He was a U.S. Marine and insisted that I continue on to college. If you had a Marine dad, you understand that arguing about such things is not wise. In the end, I'm glad I went to college straight out of high school, but sometimes I wonder where I would be today if I had joined the service instead. Could I have been a jet pilot? Eh, probably not, since I have bad eyesight and get motion sickness if I try to read while moving. Anyway, with Memorial Day just behind us I wanted to tip my hat to all those who have served this nation in our military, and I would like to thank the U.S. Airforce for the free tunage, even if I'm too old to join at this point in my life.
