Ode To McDonalds

McDonalds is the world's largest fast food restaurant and you may have noticed that the company has been on the upswing. Backlash against their unhealthy food has led the restaurants to add healthier choices to their menu, including salads, wraps and fruit. The consistently low prices have been attracting larger crowds in the current economic environment, and McDonalds has now started competing directly with Starbucks by offering a wide selection of coffee drinks and updated, more comfortable interiors. For those with tightening budgets, $4 lattes are the first luxury to go, and McDonalds seems to have capitalized on this by offering quality coffee drinks at more reasonable prices.

This ode to McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD) playlist is an odd one, and it was inspired by the current McDonalds makeover.  The list features wacked out music by Wesley Willis, They Might Be Giants and Bob Pyle as well as stand up comedy by Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Christopher Cannon. All 10 tracks have something to say about this American restaurant icon.
