I’m crazy about monkeys, and from the number of songs written about them it’s obvious that many songwriters are too. People have a certain kinship with simians, after all, we are genetically similar to them. We can see ourselves in our primate cousins -- in their playfulness and ability to love, as well as their ability for violence and tantrums.
