Black Sabbath's brooding thunder paved the way for throngs of musicians who came after them. And many music historians consider Sabbath the first ever "heavy metal" band.

However, most casual fans aren't aware that you could incorporate a small city with the number of musicians who have been members of the legendary and pioneering group known as Black Sabbath. We all know Ozzy and Dio, but do you remember Bobby Rondinelli or David Danoto?

This playlist features bands that have had a member who was part of Black Sabbath at some point in time. Some of the connections are surprising, like Terry Chimes’ stint with The Clash. However, most stay within the metal genre. This is a must hear playlist for fans of Black Sabbath.
