The sample comes from the b-side of a record called “Color Him Father” by an R&B group called the The Winstons. The song that the sample was lifted from is called “Amen Brother” and it has firmly cemented it’s place in music history. Be sure to check out the video by Nate Harrison on the history of this sample, then come back and listen to these 10 songs that use it.
