Taylor Swift And Taylor Lautner: An Item?
Far be it from us to be gossipy...cough! Cough! But we can never resist a bit of Taylor Swift chat.
By now, everyone knows Tay is starring in Valentine's Day alongside Twilight franchise star Taylor Lautner. Naturally, predictions of what-would-be-the-world's-cutest-potential-couple (Taylor Squared! TNT! The possibilities are endless...) started to arise, with some of the less reputable sources out there claiming to have actually spotted the pair kissing (off camera). Nothing confirmed, of course, and all smoochy photos were from the V-Day set and therefore not valid.
However, for whatever reason, this week the gossip hounds were out in full force, with several tabloids reporting that TNT is actually lit and about to blow. Lautner reportedly attended a Swift concert earlier in the month, leaving with Swift and spending some time at a lounge dancing. All of which sounds innocent enough to me.
However, things suddenly got elevated to the two actually being boyfriend-and-girlfriend. Anonymous "friends" gushed to OK! Magazine this week: "Whenever he talks about her, he can’t help but smile! She says he’s the best kisser ever!"
(Quick 101 for those not up to speed on all things Disney--Lautner formerly dated Swift's BFF Selena Gomez. This is better than Saved By The Bell, ain't it?)
Time will tell if these reports are true, though. Taylor S., in the meantime is no doubt dusting herself off from the cloud of dust raised by fans stampeding to purchase tickets for the second leg of her Fearless tour (the initial dates sold out in mere minutes) and pondering whether she can beat out the late Michael Jackson at the upcoming AMAs.
I can't blame the tabloids for trying to make something of this pair--it's just too cute and good, if you know what I mean.
