Jonas Brothers: We're Not "Breaking Up!"

Posted Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:30pm PDT by Us Magazine in Stop The Presses!

Teen girls, relax: The Jonas Brothers aren't disbanding.

The boys took to their MySpace blog to squash split rumors after Nick, 17, announced he had formed a band called Nick Jonas & the Administration.

They wrote:

"#1 – The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up!

#2 – Nick Jonas IS working on a side project called Nick Jonas & The Administration

#3 – This project will be released early in 2010

#4 - We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER!

#5 – We plan to make music together for as long as we can."

Nick adds, "We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record. "My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans."

In a joint message, Joe, 20, and Kevin, 21, write, "We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. "A three-chord strand is not easily broken, and one thing’s for sure ... this three chord strand is stronger now than it's ever been," they write. "You are truly the best fans in the world, and we love you with all our hearts."

Adding to kit kat's comment: You see movies with ADULTS in them on disney ALL the time! So what difference does it make that there is another (pretty much) ADULT who is getting married. If he wants to sport a ring while filming... kinda wierd, but i am totally fine with it!!

Good. I do not want them to break up. I love them, hence my name.. lol. I'm so proud of Nick though! I'd love to hear what he's doing and I know for sure that he's going to be very successful with our without his brothers...

Jonas Brothers 4eva!

DANG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh well i guess they'll break up sooner or later......god i hate them!!

They should dismember after their next world tour. Nick Jonas is good enough to go solo. Kevin should cut it out with Disney Channel though. It's pretty creepy having a married man play as a high school student..

Kit Kat is right, Nick needs to get his priorities straight. 1st of all ill come out and say it, I don't like disney or the people who get famous under their name. But the jonas brothers are getting too old to be working for disney sure there are adults who work for the corporation, but there aren't many that are young adults. Soon the Jonas Brothers, Miley, Selena and all those other will need to grow up, leave disney and face real musical competition.

why aren't they breaking up, they SUCK!!!!!

All I need to say is how old is Brenda Song and Ashley Tisdale and they both played High School Students and are playing high school students. If he wants to stay in the disney channel let him. He still looks young enough to be a teen, so they are going to keep him in that role.

these guys are just not cool

If you think it's weird that a guy who is married play a high school kid, then why don't you check out the imdb page for jason earles, who plays miley cyrus's older brother on hannah montana?

shut up adam r.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! There are adults playing teenagers all the time in movies. Like the best friend in Clueless that then went on to the tv show. She was in her late 20's! But you all realize that it is make believe, right? As in they are pretending to be something they are not? I know hard concept to swallow. It is a preteen show, so why do you care anyhow? For that matter why do I care?

Who cares, they will be forgotten like all the other boy bands. No one even goes crazy for them as they used to. Album sells will drop and as these dumb teenage girls grow up they'll be saying "why the hell did i ever like this"?

I wish the rumors were true.

For tenor from Malta, a star-making role?

AP
Thu Nov 26, 2009 12:01am PST

AP - There's something about the honeyed sweetness of Joseph Calleja's voice that seems to evoke memories of a golden age, as if this young tenor carried within his vocal cords a secret passed down from bygone generation… More »
