Michael Jackson's Fans & Neighbors Collide at Neverland

Posted Fri Jul 3, 2009 10:34am PDT by Shawn Amos in GetBack

On July 1, one week after Michael Jackson's death, hundreds of his fans gathered at his Neverland Ranch to pay their respects. They were also hoping for a public viewing which didn't happen. That'll be Tuesday morning at Staples Center. Maybe. Nothing's ever for certain in the Jackson world.

From a 16 year old with her cat "Billie Jean" to an 86-year old grandmother, Jackson devotees from around the the world moonwalked and wept for their fallen King of Pop. I went to Neverland to to meet Jackson's army and Jackson's old neighbors in the town of Los Olivos. I even got on my toes in front of the gates in honor of the Gloved One. Here's a video from the day.

Michael Jackson was surely a icon. It's a shame his life had
to end. My regards to his family. Only Michael knew what He
had done in life, So why then people judge him. RIP Michael.

The world watched the election in Iran. The world watched the fallen plane from South America and from France. The world watched the death of Farrah. The world watched the killings of people in Iraq. The world watch the death of soldiers. The world watched the election of an africian american president. The world watched the launched of the space shuttle. The world watched the death of Michael. I remember the world watched the death of Elvis. All of this is NEWS.

Hey ppl, learn to respect others. Nobody born with talents. MJ is special with talents. He was a singer and a dancer most of us were inspired by him. Well, you can compare him with other entertainers but how many of them had sacrifice their earnings to orphanages and third world countries. Gee...grow up ppl. Molestation was totally vindicated to his honor. Who cares about what he did to his face, skin and hair. This is someone personal. He have every right to do anything to himself. No one have the right to command.
Don't let your thoughts run wild, medias and papers not telling the truth all the time so absorb the good and discard the bad. MJ is dead now at least let his soul rest in peace. Medias pls stop harassing him as now he no longer with us if possible speak the truth.
And for those who dislike him please don't comment. It doesn't matter whether to carry on talking about him or not. If you have something better to do go ahead and concentrate on that.
Although MJ is no longer but his songs are still alive. May he leave in peace.

Can we all just get over this already!! Yes, he was a huge talent but he was just a person he was not a god. There are more important issues going on the world. Farrah's death should have had more of an impact in the news as she bravely fought against cancer, but she was overshadowed by an "alleged" child molester.

Some of you guys are "haters"! You should respect everyone who died both troops in war and celebrities alike. Micheal Jackson gave so much to charities and his music for all people. It gave many stars today hope that one day that can "heal the world".

MJ is loved by lots, no one in your life time will ever sell as many units as he or win as many music awards. May he RIP. I hope the family puts him in a Mausoleum and I hope the Post Office makes Michael Jackson Stamps. I cant get enough of his coverage. MJ is News.

Micky you need to get a life. We do concentrate on wars, Obama, Sarah Palin, and dummies like Paris Hilton all day long. Give Michael Jackson a break and the tribute he deserves. He means alot to a lot of people in America and around the world. Name one other artist that has made a cultural impact like Michael Jackson. Michael still had people falling out and crying over him. Name another artist who has sold over 750 million albums world wide or sold out 50 shows in 2 hours. RIP MJ

Boy....some people are concerned that Michael's death is not that important compared the on-going bull [profane] of everyday life. Why are these people here telling others this? Shouldn't they be worrying about on-going bull [profane] that is more important to them which they are not trying to solve? I love when people who don't really care about Michael have to come ruin it for everyone who does care about him. At the moment, I want to hear about Michael news and not things that really doesn't have nothing to do with me.
